A psychotherapist with four decades of experience, Jonathan has helped celebrity and high profile individuals and couples; Silicon Valley and hedgefund CEO’s, and leading creatives; each come to him for his gentle renegade approach, integrative coaching, and life-changing psychotherapy.
Jonathan helps you experience groundbreaking results. He integrates modalities, including Zen Buddhism, IFS, and is a specialist in Byron Katie’s The Work, helping people create the lives they want. While not for everyone, he guides plant medicine journeys for the profound benefits of neuroplasticity.
Jonathan received his Master’s degree from New York University. He worked in inpatient care at Cornell University’s Psychiatric Hospital, then opened his private therapy practice in Westport, Connecticut in 1985, and now lives part-time on Martha’s Vineyard and part-time on the Mediterranean. He has two wonderful adult daughters.
Jonathan provides therapy via telehealth and concierge in-person travel.

Jonathan brings a creative spark, rooted in a parallel career begun attending USC’s Graduate School of Cinema Arts, becoming a writer for ABC television and freelancing for CBS and Dustin Hoffman.
He worked in inpatient care, then opened his private therapy practice in Westport, Connecticut in 1985; expanded to New York, NY; San Francisco, California; and now lives on Martha’s Vineyard.
